We have two modding options for the Nintendo Wii.
The most reliable mod option for the Wii is to use a modchip.
The second option is to run your games from an external USB hard disk drive but there is a chance that in time you will need to update some of your hard disk programs to keep the hard disk running.
We would only recommend the hard disk option to those of you that are technically are more technically capable.

We choose to use the WiiKey series of mod chips on your Wii because of their ability to be updated as changes come about. If the chip needs updating, all you need to do is download the the latest update files from our website, burn it to a disc, and then play it on your Wii. Now your WiiKey will have the latest updates.
With the hard disk mod, it is very similar. Updates can be found from our downloads page but updates for the hard disk may be delayed by several months. So you may have to wait several months before an update is made available.
